Alix is absolutely immune to gory, squeamish, revolting things. He's not afraid of getting very close to or even touching disturbing, mutilated looking things with his bare hands. This ranges from disgusting scents, gross kinds of liquids [ like vomit ], and freakishly nauseating scenes with parts in places where they really shouldn't be. Oh, and he's of course fine with brushing away a handful of maggots or two.

›| Hive mind
Alix suffers from self doubt when it comes to making initial convictions and will rarely ever speak up or contribute original ideas of his own during the beginnings, and possibly middle part of court, unless it thoroughly involves insects. Even then he would find it difficult to pin the murder on someone. Alix confides strongly in the majority vote, and will not contribute much until he has deciphered whom others have chosen as the bias for blame. Once this happens he will always conform to others opinion, and will even disregard friendships in the face of the majority and justice. He has no concept of loyalty. A trait that can have severe consequences in trust. 

›| Araneae's web
Alix requires a lot of movement to think as he is a dancer, and verbal pressure or expectation / strong reliance on him causes him to freeze, which clouds his thoughts and renders him useless as he can no longer articulate sentences properly or think straight. Normally he would fidget to overcome this, but due to a certain childhood but ongoing fear, he cannot change this frozen feeling when pressure increases. It is easy to look like he is calm and collected, but he cannot pretend to actually think properly. Please do not bombard the Entomologist with tens of questions or he's gonna have to go Dance musical mode.

› Hopes to be the first discoverer an unknown insect one day; its his strongest motivation to keep collecting. He'd most likely name it after his father.

› Refers to every single insect he has knowledge of using binomial nomenclature. He hasn't always done this until about four years ago, he forces himself to use it when in casual conversation too so he'll remember the names easier / practice in a practical way. For Biologists in general, it is much more convenient to refer to bugs with a separate, universal scientific language than mother tongue.

› Despite seeming to appeal to bright, colourful and beautiful bugs, he equally adores the disgusting, terrifying ones. Any insect is interesting to him.

› Has a pet / companion tarantula [ Acanthopelma rufescens ] and loves him very much please don't kill it : ((((((

› Enjoys old fashioned things with modern twists

› He shakes his thighs, hands, etc. when he sits / fidgets a lot. He also always uses hand gestures when he talks. Alix needs to move to think, dancing really helps him in this sense.

› Not afraid to physically touch insects, no matter how slimy, hairy, or satanspawn-y they are!!!!!!!!!!!

› Fluent in French and English

› Bought the spider, by the way, with the 'Good luck in Uni' gift money his parents gave him. Of course since the specimen is not in the UK, he bought it online [ which is possible [ LINK to spiders just warning HAHA ]  _{WHY THOOOOOOO} ]

› Infact he's bought a lot of insects online [ Probably on a site such as this; [Dw its butterflies not satan spawn] ] due to unfortunate travel inconvenience. The only other place he's been to outside of France is England. He has really high hopes to travel the world someday
